Keeping the faith…
By sage of monticello | July 31, 2007
A really great post by Eyeon08 concering a recent poll which measured the public’s trust of the various 2008 Presidential candidates on to issues such as the War in Iraq, the economy, health care, and terrorism.
Interestingly enough, the results of this poll challenge the countervailing assumption on Iraq, namely that the war is electorally bad for Republicans.
Presumably if the majority of Americans trust the Republican Presidential candidate more than the Democrat Presidential candidate on national security issues, and if the War in Iraq, terrorism, and national security is a vote-determinative factor in ‘08; then this poll may potentially be a bright spot for Republicans…

I think an excellent candidate would be Senator Sam Brownback. I don’t understand how the media picks and chooses which candidates are top contenders. Whoever they cover is.
I’ve not lost hope for ‘08, but if the surge does not work (which reports say it is), then ‘08 will be a sad election.
