The CR Nation has spoken in true Democratic form and their voice is for the Ducks of the Peabody Hotel.

The Mighty Ducks of Peabody won with 13 votes, followed by Graceland with 11 votes, Memphis BBQ with 10 votes and the Blues District with 5 votes.

I would like to think like the ducks won on the merits and the broadness of their appeal, however there were rumors of GOTV efforts by the honorable chair of Georgia…

Insincerity, thy name is Clinton

The Clintons refined the art of faking emotions in politics, as illustrated by these two videos.

First, Hillary fake laughing at tough questions related to her health care proposal.

Maybe it’s just me, but she sounds like the “Wicked Witch of the West” every time she cackles like that. Evil-like.

Then, Bill feigning outrage over Republican reaction to the MoveOn.org ad.

That diatribe reminds me how proud I am to be a member of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy. All that was missing was the finger-wagging.

Gotta love the Clintons. Not.

Ron Paul set to surprise

Real Clear politics is reporting the Ron Paul expects to exceed fundraising expectations this quarter. His campaign is expected to take in more thant $1 million.

While this is not ground shaking, it does indicate a growing support for Mr. Paul’s message. Predications are being made that Mr. Paul’s candidacy will not run its course until well into caucus season, even as far as Super Tuesday – especially when considering how frugally Mr. Paul’s campaign spends money.

We can’t break a filibuster. We spent a lot of time on it. We just didn’t succeed.

- Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI) on legislative attempts spearheaded by Senate Democrats in coordination with House Democrats to withdraw troops from Iraq.
