Five year anniversary

It was five years ago today that the United States Senate voted to authorize military action in Iraq. Barack Obama commemorated the day by releasing this web ad:

Unlike Obama, I don’t look back on that day with regret. Obama apparently considers rescuing a nation from the brutal regime of Saddam Hussein and freeing 26 million Iraqis as “the greatest foreign policy blunder in a generation.”

I disagree. I believe that if our soldiers are given the ability and time to achieve victory, that they will, and that history will look back on October 11, 2002 as an important day. As a good day, for Iraq, the Middle East and the United States of America.
