One thing Congress should not be doing is sorting out the historical record of the Ottoman Empire
-President Bush on the plans of the Democratic-controlled Congress to approve a resolution labeling the World War I-era killing of up to 1.5 million Armenians in the final years of the Ottoman Empire as genocide, thereby pissing off Turkey who happens to be an important ally in the War on Terror. Instead Bush urged Congress to actually pass all appropriations bills.
