And the Story twists…

Alright, so here’s what is going on in MI as I currently understand it. This has been confirmed by two persons and has yet to be denied.
It began last night when Joe Sylvester emailed me with the press release from Dave Drwencke announcing his candidacy fro MFCR chair.
I then received an email from what I thought to be a pro-Zatkoff person, given the timing, reponding to the Dave Drwencke press release from davedrwenckedossier@gmail.com
However, I seem to be incorrect in thinking the latter email was sent to me by the Zatkoff camp, as confirmed by two separate MI College Republicans.
If not from Zatkoff, then from who?
It appears that Dave Drwencke sent the email purposely attacking himself in a weak manner so that he can easily refute the arguments in a zero-sum attempt to maximize his gain while maximizing Zatkoff’s loss.

In today’s political world, one will do almost anything for that extra boost of press or morale from his friends. One (ahem, Dave Drwencke) may even go as far as pulling a “Straw Man” tactic.
For those of you that do not know, a straw man argument is an argument that one sets up so they can then easily refute it.
Exhibit A: An e-mail from “Dave Drwencke Dossier” was sent out tonight attacking Drwencke on many different items. We will not show you the email or post it because we don’t want to further their sophomoric tactics.
This email is meant to expose all of Drwencke’s shortcomings, but in a simple manner, so he can easily refute them. Mark my words: expect Dave Drwencke and his team to send out another email in the coming days that denounces the use of such attacks this early in the election cycle. He will then go on to explain himself and make it so he is the victim in these ridiculous attacks. Basically, Dave will respond to an email attack sent out by his own associates.
If you were one of the lucky few to receive the email, you probably noticed how the attack email was sure to highlight all the relevant websites (with working links!): ReformCaucus, Dave’s Campaign Site, and even made sure to mention Joe Sylvester’s gossip girls blog. In an attack letter, you give reference to the offending websites, but you definitely don’t put the working links in the letter so people can go check them out!
One things for sure: If this really is an enemy of Dave’s, I sure wish I had enemies so cordial

Yea, were going to attack all of the members of our circle for no reason…I love the logic in that.
