UNC Young Democrats host “Pride Week”

By punch bowl | October 30, 2007

“Proud to be a Democrat” events at the University of North Carolina will take place all week.

The group will kick off the week tonight at Polk Place with a Countdown to 2008 rally that will feature speeches and a carnival with issue-related games, such as a Wheel of Health Care.

There’s no carnival that rivals the Democratic views on issues, like health care.

North Carolina State Chairman Tyson Grinstead was quoted in the article, saying, “Sometimes it’s a good idea to focus on a specific idea and not necessarily the entire party.”
