Dave Drwencke ends candidacy for MFCR Chair
By punch bowl | November 8, 2007
This message from Dave Drwencke was sent to CR Nation by a Michigan student activist who preferred to remain unknown.
I [Dave Drwencke] have decided to end my run for MFCR chairman.
I feel as if though I have become the victim of the politics of personal destruction, and though these tactics have caused me to withdraw from the race for MFCR Chair, the reform movement will continue! I know that the team will continue to work hard to do the right thing for our organization.
I thank those who have supported me through this difficult time, I will not forget your support and understanding. I feel confident that everything will work out positively.
Best Regards,
Dave
I too hope the reform movement will continue on, but I am happy that Dave’s campaign will not - as Dave is not the victim he claims to be, just consult the pending criminal charges.
We don’t need more scandal, corruption, and immorality in our Party, if that hurts Dave’s feelings, then I am sorry.

Someone released a letter — and you posted it — attempting to connect Mitt Romney to this. This is the lowest of low sleazeball tactics. Whoever put out that letter lacks integrity. This is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and we deserve better. We deserve leaders of high integrity.

Justin Zatkoff, the MFCR Chair made the flier!

Don’t be sorry if he doesn’t like to hear what you think. No need to be sorry if you speak the truth. Its not a matter of feelings.

Sylvester… you are defending him even after he is facing felony charges. Zatkoff is not an angel, but the last time I checked he is not getting charged with a felony.
The fact that Dave did not tell anyone he was facing charges when he announced his candidacy is reckless beyond regard.
