An important public service announcement

For the next 10 days or so, posting on this blog will be a little more sporadic than usual. Much is taking place in the lives of your favorite CR Nation writers (that would be all of us). Most of us have those lovely end-of-semester tasks to complete, which consists of reading all the material we skipped to watch television, writing all those papers we postponed to party and cramming for all all those finals we hoped would never come and for which we aren’t prepared (and never will be). Since most of our readers likely face the same challenges, we don’t think you’ll be too upset.
Just join the rest of us in envying Rawhide, who is heading back to the “homeland,” as he/she likes to call it. For the next few weeks, Rawhide will be touring the Emerald Isle. (Interpretation: Partying until the wee hours of every morning and praying that weekly mass is enough to cover all those little “indiscretions.”) The lucky laddie/lassie will try to report back, but don’t count on the blog being a high priority. Some people have all the fun.
In short, keep sending us stories, and keep checking back. We’ll still be around, just not as often.
