Did you know…

Hillary Clinton served as president of Wellesley’s College Republicans her freshman year.

Ron Paul was something of a track star in high school: 9.7 seconds in the 100 yard dash (national high school record at the time was 9.4)

Bill Richardson was heavily scouted by several major league baseball teams, but was never actually drafted.

Barack Obama was Harvard Law Review’s first black president in its (until then) 104 year history.

Alan Keyes roomed with conservative pundit Bill Kristol his first year of grad school at Harvard. He is also a trained opera singer.

Mike Gravel is dyslexic and supported himself through college as a bar boy and taxi driver.

John McCain was a member of the “Century Club” for demerits in the Naval Academy and finished near the bottom (5th from last) of his class. He was also a lightweight boxer for three years.
