The University of Kentucky College Democrats are not fans of Mitch McConnell
Aside from loathing McConnell’s presense in the U.S. Senate, the U.K. College Dems lament, among other things, McConell’s position on campaign finance and his alleged behavior towards a woman who asked questions at an event.
The U.K. Dems assert that McConell has taken action against a woman that amounts to a restriction or limitation on her free speech. Whether or not the allegations are true, it is strikingly inconsistent for the U.K College Dems to be concerned with the free speech of one woman, but not concerned with the political free speech of millions - as their likely position on campaign finance suggests.
Can the positions of favoring verbal political speech for one woman be reconciled with favoring restrictions on the monetary political speech for millions?
