The Face of MoveOn.org

By sage of monticello | January 24, 2008

Every once in awhile I will put up something from MoveOn.org that I find to be particularly ridiculous, funny or infuriating. This is not one of those times.

Things are looking better for Republicans - not good - but better. Iraq is improving. The Democrats in Congress have accomplished nothing. And a Hillary candidacy is looking more certain.

These are all good things for Republicans - and Eli Pariser and MoveOn.org know it. Hence the video. Enjoy.

So is moveon.org replacing the DNC? Getting out the vote “for the democratic candidate”and influencing undecideds to swing “our way.” The sad thing is they probably do a better job then Howard Dean.

    “Vote suppression?” Really?

Funny thing is, here in Colorado Springs which will still be red even if the entire nation turns blue, we had long-haired tofu-eating hippies campaign from MoveOn.org. That image does not work well in a town known for James Dobson, Ted Haggard (well, at the time anyway) and big business.

Privately, Kerry’s campaign told people that MoveOn.org was killing them, but they weren’t allowed to tell them to shut up.

Hey, I guess McCain/Feingold Finance Reform was useful for something at least.
