Former CA chair likes McCain

Mason Harrison chaired the California College Republicans from 2006-2007. He was quoted Saturday on McCain:

But McCain inspires 22-year-old Mason Harrison, a University of California-Davis graduate and past president of the California College Republicans.

“McCain has led the counter-culture wing in the United States Senate. He has led a counter-culture wing in our own party,” Harrison said. “He is the only one who speaks out on global warming. He transcends that notion of the good ol’ boy Bush-Cheney establishment. A lot of young people can identify with that.”
