Clark appoints new Executive Director

By punch bowl | January 29, 2008

Esther Clark, Chair of the Georgia College Republicans, recently appointed David Kirby as executive director, filling a position that has been vacant for several months.

Mr. Kirby is known for his work as Publisher of the Georgia GuardDawg Newspaper, a conservative student publication at the University of Georgia. In the past, Mr. Kirby has participated in a CPAC discussion as a panelist, testified before the State House Higher Education committee and appeared on CNN to provide conservative commentary on issues important to students.

As Ms. Clark stated in a email to Georgia CRs, “David brings tremendous leadership and experience to GACR, and I’m honored to name him Executive Director. I have no doubt he’ll do an amazing job.”
