Missouri College Republicans unveil updated website

By punch bowl | February 1, 2008

According to a press release, the Missouri College Republicans have a new website.

The Missouri College Republicans (MOCR) recently unveiled a remodeled website (www.mocr.org) with tools intended to enhance conservative student involvement statewide.

“This renewed website will further allow us to build on our successful recruiting efforts statewide by providing the tools and resources for students to become involved,” said MOCR Vice-Chairman Jeremy Hagen. “With our fresh, professional new look, we will connect better with students in a digital age.”

The website contains many new features, such as an events calendar, pictures from past events, links to news websites, previous editions of the MOCR bi-monthly newsletter, officer biographies and contact information for each college chair.

“The new website will give students who have been previously un-involved an easy way to begin learning about the group’s objectives and how to contact their College Republican student leaders,” said Treasurer Kristen Sanocki.

MOCR Chairlady Samantha Hill commented on the website, “Our remodeled home on the Internet is informative but simple. I am so happy we can offer up-to-date news and events, contact information and much more to College Republicans and our supporters everywhere.”

The site looks like it contains a great deal of information. It lacks visual appeal and has no links to any networking sites like facebook.

MOCR, better revisit the page and rework it…
