By punch bowl | March 6, 2008

CRNC Chairman Charlie Smith issued a press release today endorsing the Republican nominee:

Washington, DC - National Chairman Charlie Smith offered the following endorsement of Sen. John McCain:

“This week Sen. John McCain secured enough delegates to be named the nominee of the Republican Party for President in 2008. Today, it is with great enthusiasm that we offer his candidacy our endorsement and support. Throughout his campaign, Sen. McCain has put forward a bold message of a strong national defense, lower taxes and lean, efficient government. His message resonates strongly with young voters and we look forward to playing our role as the grassroots of our party in getting out his message to campuses across the country. John McCain has on many occasions implored our generation to seek a cause greater than ourselves and his incredible history of service to our country is the ultimate example by which to lead.”

“The grassroots support of the College Republicans played an important role in turning out supporters in the 2004 presidential election and we look forward to actively particpating in this critical year as well. The College Republican National Committee calls on College Republicans across the country to rally around John McCain as our party’s nominee and we look forward to many Republican victories in November. ”

The College Republican National Committee is a grassroots organization with chapters on 1,800 campuses and 250,000 members nationwide. For more information please visit www.collegerepublicans.org or call (202) 608-1411.

McCain is a coward hiding from me and hiding the intelligence of our common ground from you. I am the solution provider for the divine Mother Meera.
