YAF just rips you off. You can get the speakers cheaper through booking agents.

YAF is such a joke. Ron Robinson gets paid more than $400,000 a year to put on shitty events (9/11 event) and con students into paying thousands for dime-a-dozen speakers that give generic speeches.
“Discover how to host a speaker on your campus.” Yeah…as if I need to learn how to do that. What they really mean is “discover how to pay us thousands and allow us to continue our pathetic do-nothing jobs for another year.”
Seriously, have any of you ever dealt with the employees at YAF? Is that place a waiting-room for the lowest common denominator of college grads? They’re just idiots.
I have so much to say about that joke of an organization but I’ll stop here.
