In Missouri, vice-chairman Jeremy Hagen was elevated to chairman by a voice vote.
Going into it, Missouri’s treasurer position was contested, however, several hours before the election began, candidate Jared Daughtery dropped out, paving the way to victory for incumbent Kristen Sanocki. Rumor has it that Jared dropped out because he did not have the votes to win.
Also running unopposed, Rachel Hassani was elected Secretary and Amy Kaufman was elected vice-chair. Near 100 students attended the Missouri convention.
While at the Missouri convention, Esther Clark (CRNC Treasurer) made a video with newly elected chair Jeremy Hagen.
In Nebraska, unopposed current chairman Dayton Headlee easily won re-election and a new constitution was unanimously approved. With nearly 40 in attendance, it is reported that the Nebraska CRs are fired up for this election cycle.
In New Hampshire, Gregory Boguslavsky fended off a (weak) challenge and was re-elected unanimously for another term as chairman. Delegates also elected the following officers:
Vice Chairman: Adam Bungert, UNH
Treasurer: Christian Ginez, Dartmouth
Communications Director: Joe Doiron, New England College
Outreach Director: Tiffany Tai, Dartmouth
Of the N.H. convention, Mr. Boguslavsky writes:
Overall, the convention was another great step in the development of the NH federation. The presence of the state party chairman, competing Congressional candidates, and many others showed the importance of College Republicans to electoral success in November and to the future of the party.
In New York, the College Republicans “are energized and ready to maintain our Republican Majority in the State Senate this November.” In that effort, the NY CRs will be led by John McGrath, who was unanimously elected chairman. As a minor set-back to McGrath, his vice-chair candidate (Ari Feinman) lost.
In Wisconsin, Nicholas Carow of UW-River Falls was elected chairman.
