Move over MoveOn.org…Romney is starting his own PAC
By lace | May 4, 2008
Governor Mitt Romney, who is worth as much as $250 million, will be starting his own PAC to help candidates who supported him in his run for President. The video below was taken just after Maine’s Convention…
This is good news, especially if (when) Obama beats Hillary.

How is this only good if Obama beats Hillary. Isn’t the support Romney would provide be just as good if Hillary won?

You are correct Sage, except you read a bit too much into my post. I used the term “especially” and “Obama” because he has the largest amount of money raised and the most number of contributions under $200. As Governor Romney alluded in the video, Obama is likely to set unprecedented records. I was merely alluding to the fact that Obama, who will probably be the nomination, might be in for some competition with the wealthy and well connected Romney PAC. In no way did my sentence create the notion that this is not good if Hillary won.

Yeah Willard, support is fine but, NO running for office! ANY office.
California State Senator Tom McClintock:
Why not former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney? “I want somebody with a consistent record,” McClintock said. “I want someone who didn’t have to go through a political epiphany the day before he announced his candidacy.”

Does anyone else fantasize about seeing Mitt Romney and Obama go at it in a debate? I would love to see intellegent, articulate Mitt have Obama stuttering and pausing even more than he already does. Oh well, I guess we have to be happy with Romney in the fundraising and support role for now but watch out in 4 years when the country will be begging Mitt to be President.

If you’re fantasizing about seeing Mitt Romney debate Obama, then you have one sad and pathetic life.
Plus, everyone knows those debates are really just a bunch of fluff. They’re always the same old questions and the same old answers. They always watch what they say.

Bottom line, Romney sucks and if he has the chance to run for pres again in four years (I think McCain will win personally), I hope he wastes just as much of his OWN money to lose again!!! Atleast Obama gets small donor support!
Romney, articulate? WTF are you talking about. Huckabee was consistently the best debator, not Romney. (although I do recognize that Paul fans can argue he won all the debates, which I think he did other than one Huckabee won, Paul fans were organized to make it look like he won unlike the other campaigns). Don’t worry, you should be just as happy having good old McCain debate Obama - McCain has actually been there, done that, and actually understands whats goin on.
ROMNEY IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE, he’s a f-ing PUPPET - He’s whatever you want him to be - I do NOT want him to be president!

like it or not, Romney is and will continue to be the face of the new conservative movement these next 4 to 8 years.
Romney 2012
Romney 2016
Take your pick.

He’s a hell of a lot more conservative than everyone’s favorite RINO, John McAmnesty.
