…would talk about climate change and raising fuel-economy standards just miles from the big Delphi and General Motors plants while in Michigan yesterday. Supposedly, you could hear crickets in the audience.
McCain fared a little better, so the story goes, when he announced he would appoint like-minded Democrats to his cabinet.
