DemTV: Espisode II

If you remember, DemTV has been featured once before on CR Nation in connection with the Michigan College Dems’ convention.
Catapulted from the success from the convention episode (those who watched know how bad it was), the Michigan College Dems have produced a second episode as part of a continuing series in with following episodes will introduce the chapter leaders of the Michigan College Dems to the world.
Guy #1: Join the College Dems because you could get a good job. Underlying premise: The College Dems is a stepping-stone organization, activity within the organization is more about self-promotion than about the cause.
Girl #1: Addresses some of the same points as Guy #1. Focuses on the personal contacts that can be made through the College Dems. Again, this argument for involvement is based on self-promotion. Isn’t about the cause? Are College Republicans different/better in this respect? I know that I don’t do it for a job or any other self-promoting reason….
Guy #2: Gives us a brilliant tip on voter turnout: maximize turnout by using a ballot initiative. The best part is that he gives the tip like it isn’t already blatantly obvious.
Girl #2: Wants cheaper birth control. Sounds like my kind of girl….
Guy #3: Is the director of fundraising. I hope the fundraising is by direct mail…
