PA CRs receive training, prepare for election fight
By punch bowl | June 9, 2008
This past Thursday (June 5) many PA College Republicans participated in a CR training session conducted by the PA Republican Party.
The training, which was held in conjunction with the 2nd Annual “Celebrate Pennsylvania” event, was followed by a barbecue that was attended by CRs and elected officials alike.
PA CR chairman Anthony Pugliese, commented:
We are grateful to the PA Republican Party for hosting this event. We had a good turnout of College Republicans from across the state and with the help of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, I and my fellow College Republicans are more prepared to work and make a solid impact this upcoming election year.
I am told that this event was important because it is the second time in as many months that the Pennsylvania College Republicans have attended an event sponsored by the Republican Party of Pennsylvania - on Tuesday, April 8th, numerous CRs traveled from all across the state to attend “CR Night” at the PA GOP Headquarters in Harrisburg.
Michael Ubbens, Co-Chairman of the PA CRs said:
I’m glad that we’ve been able to strengthen our relationship with the State Party. I am confident in saying that this is the beginning of a strong relationship between the Pennsylvania College Republicans and the Pennsylvania Republican Party.
