Rumor Has It…Federation Fundraising

Rumor has it that Maine College Republicans, led by Alex Willette, are hiring their own field staff, consisting of 3-5 field reps hand selected by the state leadership. Apparently, Maine will launch a full field plan in the coming weeks. Moreover, the fundraising plan will not only include enough funds for a handful of field reps, but travel expenses for members and a number of other items a proper field plan requires.
It is also rumored that Utah’s Ed Cox and Oregon’s Reece Hrizuk will be working together on a joint deployment of volunteers, allocating their funds to pay for necessary expenses of volunteers. There has been talk with the RNC about organizing volunteer deployment through the two states as mirrored by Utah in 2006.

For willette to employ a field rep plan he would’ve needed to have raised 15 to 20 k in the last two months not including the 5k debt walton left behind…..considering no one in maine politics has any respect for him, with several federal campaigns I’ve been in touch reffering to him as incompetent and a moron, I highly doubt he could’ve found the donors necessary to raise that kind of money….. what kind of reporting is this? where’s the proof that he’s raised the funds for this plan?

If one is interested in volunteer deployment they should look no further than California. In recent years The California College Republicans have been a perfect example of what a well organized and well funded volunteer operation can achieve.
Interestingly enough, I believe that College Republican leadership from both Utah and Oregon were present in California earlier this month to participate in a massive GOTV operation.

The first post was obviously by disgruntled Maine CRs Jake Roundtree/Ralph Kettell haha. There was no debt left behind for Willette, and his field plan is moving full speed ahead with the support of all campaigns. People who make smears like this are usually those on the outside looking in.
