This article is outrageous. Ronald Reagan is not to blame for our energy crisis. Ronald Reagan? Not demand from India and China or our disasterous policies on not drilling for oil. What about not developing alternate fuels?Cohen says he doesn’t want to go after Reagan and then does. He crowns Jimmy Carter as some kind of saint(or poor politician who meant well) and not the President who bungled Iran, was shocked when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, regulated and taxed as unemployment and inflation spiraled out of control, and blamed America for the energy crisis. Wow. Reagan, on the other hand, undid the mess by doing things in a direction 180 degrees from Carter. Richard Cohen,get over yourself. NRO has reaction,too.
