Tony Snow 1955-2008
By windstone | July 12, 2008
We have lost a giant of American politics and a giant in the conservative world. His contributions as an editorial writer, speechwriter for George H.W. Bush, talk show host, Fox News Sunday host, and White House Press Secretary. His words in two columns put it best:
The party that best praises limited government and traditional virtues will win — and if Republicans won’t do the touting, Democrats will.
Understand that truth has consequences. Lies have consequences. Press sensations have consequences. Before unleashing the hounds of controversy, try to have some idea what the real consequences will be.
Fox News remembers their former colleague.

Yawn…
He wasn’t a “giant of American politics” or a “giant in the conservative world.” He was just another news personality who ended up writing speeches.
Personally, I’m indifferent on his passing. It doesn’t make a difference either way.

I think regardless of your view on his passing, saying you are “indifferent” to the death of a man who fought cancer on the national stage is wrong. Show some respect for the Snow family. It does make a difference to them, not to mention the people who know Tony Snow.
