I must not get it when the former head of the DNC and a sitting Dem Congressman think its funny that New Orleans is currently being threatened by another hurricane.

The CRNC recently released the following press announcement to CR Nation:

Washington, D.C.- Fifty College Republican Field Representatives are arriving in thirty-one states around the country today. They will spend the next ten weeks on college campuses recruiting new College Republican members and registering students to vote. They will augment their grassroots recruitment efforts with online activism tools, such as blogs, YouTube, and Twitter.

The fifty-person field team is the most ambitious in College Republican history. Their goal is to recruit 100,000 new members and register 25,000 new voters before Election Day.

College Republican National Committee Chairman Charlie Smith said: “We are very excited to be launching our most ambitious field team ever. The youth vote will play a huge role in the 2008 elections, and the College Republican field reps will play an important role in turning out young voters for Republican candidates.”

True colors?

Are the true colors of the Obama campaign to belittle small town America? This is the Obama campaign’s statement following McCain’s selection of Palin as VP:

Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency.

Is there first instinct always to belittle small town America? Remember the “bitter” and “clinging to guns and religion” comment?

Why Palin?
