State Chair Resignations
By punch bowl | November 10, 2008
Recently, two state chairs have resigned: Ryan Murphy of Texas and Bryant Davis of Arkansas.
In Arkansas, Mr. Davis has stepped down due to his upcoming graduation. Current AFCR Vice-Chair Rachel Davis will take over.
In Texas, Mr. Murphy has stepped down because he has accomplished all he set out to accomplish. I am suspicious that this is really the case… If I get anything, you all will be the first to know. At any rate, taking over in Texas will be Lance Kennedy (who is that? anyone know where this guy came from? whoever he is, he’s got a self-titled website).
The rest of the Texas leadership slate included:
Vice Chair – Clint Petersen, Univ of North Texas
Treasurer – Ryan Pitts, Southern Methodist Univ
Secretary – Frank Carni, Univ of Texas - San Antonio
Several Regional Vice Chairs were also elected in Texas. I am told the most notable is Western Vice Chair, Nicole Heater, who recently completed a gig as a CRNC field rep. The other Texas regional vice chairs include:
North – Bryant Surley, Univ of North Texas
Central – Geoffrey Geiger, Univ of Texas
East– Bryan Miller, Texas A&M
South – Josh Bart, Univ. of Texas - San Antonio

Why won’t Justin Zatkoff resign in Michigan? There is no MFCR anymore. The major chapters have left the organization. There haven’t been any meetings. Zatkoff was fired from the Michigan Republican Party for stealing campaign materials. The organization has went defunct. The College Republicans, as a statewide organization, did absolutely nothing this election cycle. Why? And what happened to those four CRNC field representatives that were assigned to Michigan? Justin Zatkoff should resign, asap.

1. Lance Kennedy is a senior at UT at Austin. He told me that he is planning on attending law school next year at UT.
2. He is from Dallas and was involved in his local CR chapter for two years before running for state chairman. Lance worked for Sen. Sam Brownback and Chairman Michael Williams. He is also a Freemason.

or Meaghan in IL, what did she do during this election to get IL CRs out? From what I seen they did more in the special election back in February for one candidate than this entire election cycle.

How would someone know that Kennedy is a freemason? Unless they too were a Mason? However it has been documented that Freemasons are not supposed to comment on their brethren. Is Kennedy Vet08?

Anonymous, I am glad you know so much about the Craft. Thanks Tory for the defense.
