Via an e-mailed letter to members of the CRNC National Board, Zach Howell has announced his bid to become the next Chairman of the College Republican National Committee.

Members of the National Board,

As many of you are aware, I have been considering a run for Chairman of the College Republican National Committee for the last several months. Before making a final decision, I wanted to make sure that I had properly made myself aware of the issues and challenges facing the organization by speaking with College Republicans all over the country and seeking out their new ideas and perspectives. After speaking with hundreds of College Republicans from across the country and nearly all of our organization’s National Board about these issues, I feel I have an appropriate understanding of where our organization is and how we can take it to the next level. With this in mind, I have decided to officially announce my candidacy for Chairman of our great organization.

In the coming weeks and months, I look forward to sharing my platform and continuing the dialogue we’ve started about how we can improve our organization even further. Look for announcements in the coming days about my campaign’s website, platform and activities at CPAC. If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas, please do not hesitate to reach out to my campaign.
