Liberty University CRs caught in crossfire

Last month, Liberty University de-recognized the College Democrats chapter because of their support of the national Democratic party and platform. Now, the College Republicans have lost official recognition as well:
Chancellor Jerry Falwell Jr. said Tuesday that a change in university policy will allow the Liberty University College Democrats to exist as an unofficial club. The policy change, which took effect Monday, also changed the College Republicans from an officially recognized campus group to the new unofficial status.
Jerry Falwell made his name with his “Moral Majority” and getting Christians involved in politics. It’s a lot harder for Christians attending Falwell’s Liberty University to get involved now.
