A reader writes,

In fact, CR Nation does. Below is the list of those who were elected Saturday, all by unanimous votes. The state that they chair is in parenthesis.

For those who weren’t there

Monday, July 16th, 2007

Justin Jordan, chairman of the Texas CRs, gave the nominating speech for Charlie Smith at the CRNC convention on Saturday. Time ran out before he could finish it (leading to an abrubt ending and a very unique look from the speaker), but Mr. Jordan was kind enough to tag CR Nation in a Facebook note […]

They [NewCRNC] weren’t expecting a big fight, but more an annoying one; but they [Siler-Ludeman] just folded and rolled over. -anonymous CR Nation mole speaking on the NewCRNC’s expections of more “fight” from the Siler-Ludeman crowd.

CRNC election results, Smith elected Chairman

Saturday, July 14th, 2007

Charlie Smith of Colorado was elected CRNC Chairman today in what has long been a non-race, as noted by the WaPo. On the convention floor Charlie was nominated by Alabama and his nomination speech was given by Justin Jordan of TX. No one voted against Charlie but several delegates from several states chose […]

GOP Presidential hopefuls at CRNC Convention

Friday, July 13th, 2007

Well, actually more like “GOP Presidential hopeful” because there was only one as of today: Mitt Romney. Word is Mr. Romney has “an incredible operation” running at the convention, i.e., one membership table with five staffers behind it.
The staffer in charge is none other than Jordan Sekulow, the Students for Bush National Coordinator […]

Rumor has it…

Friday, July 13th, 2007

….that in the Southern Regional Vice-Chair race NewCRNC’s Kristy Cottrell has shored up enough support to ensure her victory, and in light of Bobby Kaufmann’s troubles, enough to ensure an electoral sweep by the NewCRNC as the Midwest and Southern Regional Vice-Chair posts are the only contested races (thus far).
(hat tip: CR Nation mole)
