Harry Awdey, the University of Michigan-Flint CR chapter chairman, was elected to a commission writing a new municipal charter (essentially a local constitution with home rule statutes) for one of Detroit’s largest suburbs.

In a piece about young voters in Ohio, CNN interviewed Ohio College Republican Chairman Jonathon Snyder. As it so happens, CNN caught Mr. Snyder while he was recruiting at a table on the Ohio State University campus.
