Polls
Tuesday, July 15th, 2008Some recent polls I found interesting.
First, support for offshore drilling and oil shale development continues and is broad-based, with the former favored by 64% of respondents and the latter by 65%.
Second, a new Washington Post-ABC News poll finds the country split down the middle between those backing Sen. Barack Obama’s 16-month timeline for withdrawal of […]
Public supports McCain town hall meetings
Monday, June 9th, 2008Rasmussen reports that 77% of Americans think John McCain’s proposal to hold a series of town hall meetings is a good idea.
As was stated in its findings, Rasmussen pointed out that –
McCain has proposed that the candidates meet once a week in ten different cities around the country. The two men would answer questions from […]
Why aren’t we drilling?
Thursday, May 29th, 2008The issue of gas prices may become a popular one on this site because I am tired of politicians ingnoring common sense solutions to America’s problems that the majority of Americans support. And that goes for both parties….
On the issue of gas prices, a recently released Gallup poll indicates significant support among the American […]
Reports of McCain losing steam-WRONG!
Saturday, May 3rd, 2008Rasmussen Reports show John McCain tied with Hillary Clinton and ahead of Barack Obama. But I thought Hillary was unstoppable. Barack was to be unbeatable. Even CNN can’t deny John McCain’s appeal. If Senator McCain keeps this up(and picks a strong running mate), the Democrats “cakewalk” will take a serious detour.
Lastest Rasmussen presidential poll
Thursday, March 27th, 2008According to Rasmussen,
John McCain continues to lead both potential Democratic opponents. McCain leads Barack Obama 51% to 41% and Hillary Clinton 51% to 41% (see recent daily results). McCain is now viewed favorably by 56% of voters nationwide and unfavorably by 41%. Obama’s reviews are 46% favorable and 52% unfavorable. For Clinton, those numbers […]

Sunday, December 30th, 2007Poll 1
According to a recent Reuters-CSPAN-Zogby poll, former governors Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee are statistically tied atop the lead for the coveted Iowa Caucus, where a win could propel either to the Republican Party nomination. With only six percent saying they were undecdided, Huckabee holds a small one-point lead over Romney with a […]
