The Democratically controlled Congress adjourns today having not taken any substantive steps to address gas prices or the broader energy crisis.
Their motivation for such inaction is likely political and intended to protect themselves and “The One” from any political fallout associated with being against offshore drilling, an idea 69% of Americans support.
